This course delves into the intersection of machine learning and biomedicine, offering students a comprehensive exploration of the principles, methodologies, and applications of machine learning in the healthcare sphere and biomedical contexts. Throughout this practical course, students will embark on a journey covering multiple and various applications of machine learning in healthcare projects. The main topics covered in the course are the following:
- Learn how to create, experiment, fine-tune machine learning models for medical diagnosis until deployment.
- Learn the current SOTA for Tabular Data and Genomic Language Models.
- Learn how to analyse and preprocess medical image data.
- Learn the different steps of performing “Natural Language Processing” pipeline for healthcare data.
- Create your own End-to-End ML pipeline, train a model and deploy a data-oriented web application for automated analysis.
